Just picking up on the previous message. Is there any anyone on here who lives near Tipperary? my brother in law lives near Galbally and the Galtee mountains. I went over there with my bike about five years ago - had a brilliant time in Bansha , Aherlow. Lots of open trails and woods. Some local lads too...

Hi all - after trawling the website the last few weeks, my TTR is finally on it's way to me (and hopefully it will arrive safely tomorrow sometime). To say I am excited is completely understating it. The bike is pretty much stock form from what I can see - tail tidy will probably be my first mod, and I wil...

Hi, Thinking of buying a TTR and wanted to try to get a bit more info about the bike. I've done several searches and read a lot of the useful info but there are a couple of questions I still have. 1. What are the key differences in spec between the older White (pre-2k) OE's and the later Blue ones in terms of...
I'm increasingly using my TTR250 on the road (90% on and 10% off) and it's time to change to a more road biased tyre. There's loads written regarding off road tyres but far less about on road ones. From what I can make out the 'best' size seems to be 90/90 21 and 100/100 18 and maybe Pirelli Scorpions/Con...
hi folks, I need to replace the bump-stop on my rear shock. i have the spring off, which i am re-painting and need to take off the bottom mounts in order to fit the bump-stop. Looking at old threads which are more focused on total rebuilds I see that the shock stem can be held with a vice or pipe-wrench with s...

Any of you long legged types out there got a lowering link you don't need? Kouba or Totallyttrs. Finally adjusted the sag properly on my bike and suddenly it's a lot taller than it used to be! Simon.
So after 12 month I have reached of owning a TTR I have reached Phase 2 Phase 1 was all about sorting out what I thought was an already sorted bike but a seized rear suspension, weird shortened shock absorber and a myriad of other small maladies meant one job after another. Being Wiltshire based (lot...
Does anyone happen to know if the purple / blue colour can be removed from the wheel rims of the OE model ? How can it be done and what would it leave underneath ? Would it leave a nice clear alloy colour ? Or would it be easier to try and find a couple of secondhand wheels from a Y2K model ? Any other alternative...
Having got my head around Memory Map, I'm now finding the 3" screen on my MM device a bit small due to ageing eyesight So I'm looking for a bigger screen solution, ideally using the memory maps I've already bought as that was quite an investment. I can run the memory Map App on Andriod, so one op...
