Ok so am wondering what you guys think, the TTR is in need an MOT to get her back on the road but I am unsure what other work she needs to get her "road" safe. (Bar bearing on the rear wheel) Do you think I should MOT her knowing there's a couple of potential issues or do I fix those first and then MO...

good morning everybody from Kefalonia Island in Ionian Sea, Greece. Its a rainy day so its time for my TTR story. I bought my 1994 Raid back in 1998. It was one of the many used motorcycles imported from Japan. It was almost untouched with almost 7K on it. I left it in my garage and used it from time to time un...

My TTR had a popping cough prior to a carb rebuild and some other minor maint. Pretty much all of the popping cough is gone but I am still hearing a pop and tick while the bike is turned off and cooling down.....sort of like a car does after a drive on a hot summer day. Is this normal?
Hello, I purchased an aftermarket horn & button for my ttr. Now I'm looking for a good place to put it. Where is the stock location for the horn on a model that came with one. (raid)etc.. Thanks.
After a few months of prevarication, on my part, I accepted an invite from Jim, a trail riding buddy from many years ago, to go out on a local run with him and three mates. It took me a little while to dig out my winter riding gear etc but I was ready when Jim passed by to pick me up on the way to meet t'others. Jim...

Hullo all. I realise this is the reverse to the usual 'upgrade', but does anyone know what the rating of standard weight fork springs is? I've got heavier ones fitted, and as I get older and thus even slower, I need to go back to standard. I'll also be working in some rocky country next year, so plush is ver...
Thought I'd post a few pics from this years VINCE pyrenean orientiering event. Sorry if some are the wrong way up! An excellent 2 days in the mountains of Catalan Spain following routes to waypoints laid out by Mr Austin Vince himself. Superb fun, if exhausting, in a noncompetitive (sometimes!) atmo...
Hi has anyone got a lowering link for sale please? I have just put a deposit down on a TTR and will need to fit one before I can feel confident off road. Thanks Jak
Bought about 6 months ago with a view to doing some trail riding, the reality is that it's not going to get used and I'd rather it go to someone who is going to get some benefit out of it rather than have it sit going rusty. I'm no motorcycle mechanic but it seems in good nick apart from needing a fork oil seal...
