Just picking up on the previous message. Is there any anyone on here who lives near Tipperary? my brother in law lives near Galbally and the Galtee mountains. I went over there with my bike about five years ago - had a brilliant time in Bansha , Aherlow. Lots of open trails and woods.

Some local lads took me out. Rode for miles.

My brother in law keeps asking me to take the bike over ever time I visit, but  without company(he doesn't ride and has lost contact with the Irish lads who took me out before) I won't go up tot he top on my own.

Steve - good luck with your trip mate!

Boz

Thats were the offroad half of the  paddydakar was 2 years ago.

Great forests go on for ever .

You would need a bit of local knowledge went in there with a chap from the north the two of us spent 3 hours lost in the forestlooking for the worst hills before we met anyone or even a road ,

We gave up on the whole orienteering thing and just enjoyed the biking .

Hi,
I did the Paddy Dakar for last two years as well on an XT225. I just got a TTR recently and would love to meet up in the spring to do a few trails. I'm in Kildare, there is another TTR owner from the forum who is a friend of mine here locally, and another pal of ours who rides an XR250...maybe we can get together in the early spring?
