In sunny weather (yes, we have had some in the UK!) it can be difficult to see if the neutral light is on so I have just changed the bulb for an LED one and it has made a huge difference! Had this plastic air-scoop lying around for ages - took it off the quad as it was just another place for mud to collect (plastic behind it was not cut). 2 zip ties later I have a screen Works well, will upgrade to stronger zip ties just in case.

I've done a search and can't see anything close to what I want to do so has anyone removed this ugly black number plate holder on the later model blue TTR's and replaced it with a bracket of some kind so that the plate sits right up under the tip of the blue guard itself with a tiny light on top.

I rode my new to me TTR250 yesterday after riding my crf450x and I noticed it felt really cramped on the TTR. After checking, the footpegs on the TTR are at least 3-4" higher than the bottom of the bike. Is that normal, or did someone short put these on?

For owners of blue TTRs, a simple upgrade is to fit footpegs from the older white model. The blue pegs are 30mm wide and the white ones are 37/38mm wide. The wider ones fit straight in Hope that helps someone. I have not been able to source a sensibly priced set of after-market wide pegs Brian

Got the rear rack and pannier arms from Steve at Totally TTRs a while ago and have just finished fitting them. It's going to give me more options for carrying my camping and fishing gear. Really pleased with it.
