pipe up your crankcase breather to breathe to atmosphere make sure it is not blocked in the pipe not kinked if you do this make sure it is not leaking onto your tyres
A previous owner has already had a go at your emulsifier outlet as it shouldn't feed into the airbox - if that is what it's doing. It's not clear from the photo.
CAN YOU JUST GET RID OF IT
WHAT DOES IT DO AND WILL IT DAMAGE MY BIKE?
BECAUSE I JUST RIPPED IT OFF AND RAN ALL THE TUBES THROUGH A
1 WAY VALVE I GOT RID OF THE BOX ARE THEIR ANY OTHER OPTIONS?
Its an emulsifier and is there to take out any water or oil mist before it hits the airbox. All to do with emission control to stop the oil breather fumes going straight into the atmosphere - or all over your bike
I don't see that there is a problem with having it properly fitted. You aren't going to save a lot of weight or gain power by removing it
Same with the resonator box higher up - Mr Yamaha wouldn't have gone to the expense of fitting one if it did nowt
thats the way i have it i have my fuel overflow just one wayed and took all of the crap off short and sweet i just got another 3way pvc bend and it workd great i will post pictures and and updates
