I was looking at the clutch diagram from the manual and noticed that part 11 in the photo does not exist (in the manual I have). The photo is from Brian's guide. How long should a chain slider last under normal conditions? I'm referring to the slider near the front spoket. Mine seems to be eating away way too soon, and the chain tension is correct, what other factors can affect this?

Evening, Has anyone used a different cage/support for their air filter. I have a 93 OE Not keen on spending the £50 for an original Yamaha one. I have seen some plastic cages on the internet but I'm not sure of these are for a Blue TTR? Anyone out there with a Open Enduro using a different cage?

Having fitted the 50mm lowering link I’ve come to the conclusion the stand now needs shortening, anyone who’s done this how much did you shorten it by, I’m thinking that as the bike had a tendency to lean quite a lot as standard maybe removing 25mm would suffice rather that 50mm, if I put some 25mm pieces...

Got my 94 raid on the boat road after it’s been sitting for a few years but getting a bit of clutch slip, can get replacement pattern clutch plates for £20 or ebc heavy duty with updated springs for £45, is it worth the extra?

A mot question, was wondering if anyone had come across. Fork seals are generally covered by rubber gaitors and hidden, to inspect them the tester would have to release the clip to do this. Never had an issue but never known a tester to do this, looks like the seals are overlooked
