Good morning, quick thank you to Brian for addingvmy details and signing me up to this forum much appreciated. So I've never ridden off road, always been a road rider so I fancied dipping my toes into the world of green laning. I have just purchased a 2004 TTR250 which for its age appears to be in pretty...
Hi all, looking for some advice or maybe a reality check I’m not sure! I’ got my raid up and running last year and have starting using the bike for green laning. most of the time this requires riding for 30-60mins to meet up with others and get to the dirty stuff. The bike is fantastic and more competent tha...
Ok brains trust gimme some options for mount / securing the rear of the tank, I had a simple buckle strap with a few ect wraps previously but it’s time to get something more secure
Hello! I'm Nev and I'm a fairly recent convert to riding. I bought my TTR last year from Wales having only ever really ridden a classic C50 moped. Bought knowing not a lot about them, I've since come to love trail riding and have become very much attached to my little Raid! Me and a few mates are going trai...

In search of a gas tank for my 1990 Yamaha 250 TTR . Would anyone be aware if there is another model tank that will fit? Or someplace I can find custom dealer of plastic tanks. Any thoughts would be welcomed. Many thanks.
I'm after a bash plate/ sump guard in a hurry as i've entered an enduro playday next weekend and I don't think the standard protection bars will do much
Hey everyone! I have a TTR250 Raid from 1996 which i bought about a year ago. The last couple of months, after some changes i made, i have noticed that the motorcycle behaves a bit odd. It feels like it hits unusually high revs at 1/4 of throttle and when i open it 1/2 or more the engine feels like working rea...
Hi all, got my 1994 OE out of winter slumber & it has a sort of surge or uneven running at low/part throttle. Fresh fuel, well warmed up, pulls cleanly(ish) through rev range, ticks over fine. I've had this problem before & nver got to the bottom of it. Bike has snorkel mod, shorty header & ex...
Hi All, I'm looking for some spares. They are not available through TotallyTTRs, Wmoto, Fowlers. Is there another outlet Im not aware of? If anyone is breaking a TTr250, then please get in touch if you have engine parts for sale. Cheers!!

Hello all. Just joined the forum as I have been trying to get my 1999 TTR250L back on the road after 20+ years. Having a few issues but this site and forum has been a godsend! Will post some questions in due course. Matt.
New purchase of what I understand to be a 1993 OE with a blue facelift and 263 bore. The build was featured here back in 2011 by a well know super user. Previous owner sent PDFs of the build. I am wanting to get back out on the green lanes after a period of absence so thought this would be a fun bike and I do li...
Hi, I have used this site as a great resource since buying my TTR and now I'm reluctantly offering it for sale.It says 15000km on the clock (I took that with a rich of salt when I bought it). I'd say good nick for its age. New tyres and a new TUbliss system. New Gaiters, grips and hand guards. New white fender...

Hi all ive started green laning on the ttr I bought and fixed up last year, and firstly wow what an awesome bike, I’m having a lot of fun on it. on the last 2 rides I have noticed a slight oil leak from the RH (clutch) side of the engine butni cannot pinpoint the cause. Hi, 2004 Yamaha TTR350 trail bike that has had a frame up rebuild It is with some sadness and many weeks deliberation that I am selling this bike due to health reasons. This is the TTR250 that Brian (TTRfan) rebuilt from the ground up and as a 350cc machine, the build of which is referenced here: https:/...
I have noticed on my TTR250 2007, when main tank is near empty, before switching to reserve, the throttle seems to stay on, like it is sticking. It has happened twice now at the same time (just before main tank is empty. This is the first Carby motorcycle I have had in years so maybe this is normal. Can anyo...
So this was my first bike and it was around 2007-8 when I started or around 15-16. I have rode other peoples bikes before and could use gears etc but took time for the weight side of it. But I got good. I used to ride BMX and jump the big jumps and even go to down hill MTB hills on my BMX XD but anyway I had a local to...
