Much to my displeasure, I have to move my 2002 TTR250 on to a new home. It's all down to accumulated injuries, arthritis, surgery and the fact that I can no longer get my leg over the seat of the bike. Sidecars, race bikes and driving only now. No, don't suggest a cruiser, unless you want a deathly stare (I'd have to take a selfie & I'm just too old for that caper.) Anyhow...
2002 Yamaha TT250R (TTR250) $4000.
c65000km . 296**km showing on replacement odometer.
Unregistered.Not used past 12 months.
Frame up re-build 2020, for use as an adventure tourer, including -
Fused, 12v power to steering head, direct from battery.
New grips.
OEM rear shock, freshly re-built internally (Hoey Racing), hard chromed rod, fitted with DR650 spring.
Front tyre – almost new. Barely have 300km on it.
Rear tyre – <20% remaining.

Home made, aluminium rear master cylinder guard.
Half completed patterns for ‘steg pegs’ (not available for the TTR). Cartd board, plywood, plastic & tin sheet versions. Never got around to finishing that job.
Complete engine – disassembled.
Will need all bearings & seals replaced, piston/rings & cylinder hone, at minimum. Condition not assessed by me.
Clutch cover alteration – over length bolt install - done for external oil cooler to be fitted.
Extra clutch.
Extra cylinder.
Cylinder head remains intact - see above re new parts for head re-build.
Perfect opportunity to construct a Totally TTRs 350 as a second engine?
Plus, I washed & oiled the air filter today.
New owner should do a service, so they know what they've got.
