Hi, I just bought a TTR250 that my husband should bring back home tonight . For now it is too tall for me. I can't ride it! It will replace my Honda XR 125, which is superb but too slow. I wanted more power! And speed! Anyhow, in the next few days I will be looking to buy a kouba link and get my seat scooped out so...
I have recently bought an 1994 Open Enduro 250 on ebay and have to say that I am very pleased with the way it has been looked after and know I will be having a lot of fun in the future. I am getting back to trail riding after 30 odd years so am looking to join other members on rides when possible. I am based in Nort...
Checking in from Michigan, 45th parallel. Been studying all the info here to find and purchase a TT-R 250 for trail riding, and was fortunate to do a horse trade on a '01. So far so good, did the maintenance on all lubricated components and a new chain and sprockets are all that really need attention....
This is my first tech question here as I just purchased my bike, the top end was disassembled when I purchased it and all of the parts were there with the exception of the tensioner. I purchased a manual one from ebay and it came with a generic instruction in the packet that says remove the chain guide bef...

Valeriy , a Totally TTRs customer, sent us these links - Almaty gets a mention. The terrain looks a bit like some of the Romanian vids I have seen. Lovely open riding on mountain ridges except video 3 which shows it isn't all totally straightforward 1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejoEJ4WHD...

Hi Guys, Need new rear sprocket bolts. Bought a second set of rims and replaced the rear sprocket. The bolt heads and nuts were fairly stuffed but I got them off and back on again. Happy with how they did up and used locktite. However I am now thinking I probably should have used new ones and stop being so...

Ingredients - one FMF pipe, 2 Rivnuts, 2 spacers and a heat guard from a US exhaust. Robin Webb is planning a trip down the Western Sahara and is aiming for a 1,000km range - about 44 litres of fuel. He needs to add spare fuel cans but to keep them away from the hot exhaust. This is his clever solution: You can...
Hi all, just a few pics of the TTR in the Alps last week. Generally pretty pleased with it, but I'll probably do a separate post about that. Cheers Mike
Hi forum! I didn't want to threadjack the-dirty-commuter's thread so I shall start another topic. Same issue as him. I took my valve cover off, and checked the clearances. All were within spec. The chain worried me a little bit though...if i pushed on the chain in between the cams hard ( not exactly sur...
Hi all, finding this board extremely helpful as not many TTR'rs here in my neck of the woods. Just picked one up and looking forward to the cleanup (2002 TTR 250)
For sale in our eShop - a blue plastic tank for post-2000 model TTRs. Retail in the UK is about £300 for a new one! The original TTR decals are a bit tatty but otherwise the tank is in good condition. A rare part - these don't come up for sale very often! See http://my-eshop.info/…/699105d9-e4cc-4b32-b2...

The first one of these I have seen. Useful if you use your TTR for roadwork only as it makes the gearing just a bit higher than the standard 44T sprocket. In the eShop here
