Little spin out today, the lanes were looking decidedly bushy and brambley! Had to put a load of branches down on the infamous Cosmore drove to get through. There are some natural springs next to the Cosmore drove and all the run off tends to come down and make several big lakes on the lane! Bike was looki...
Took the bike out for a potter around yesterday and enjoyed the sunshine. Ended up heading out of Plymouth via Tamerton and down to Lopwell Damn to cross over there, but the tide was to high at the time. Ended up going around the road way to Bere Ferris via a few light lanes and then did the beach road run. Po...
My bike is running rich, as it splutters a lot on WOT. I have ran it with air box lid removed and it runs a lot better. Main jet is a 147, can anyone recommend what size main jet to change to? exhaust is a CRD open pipe. Is there a point changing pilot jet as it runs ok on low revs. Many thanks.

Has anyone put a lowering link in that they know they'll never remove and could sell me the normal link for a reasonable sum? They seem strangely rare on e-bay. UK only please. Other possibility is to swap my lowering link for your normal one!
Hi all, got a lowered 250 for my G/F to ride on our annual week trip to the Ainsa area of the Pyrenees but now she has taken the only logical way to make it even lower and lighter than I could whilst retaining electric start - swap it for a KTM Freeride! So now I use it for commuting in Bristol and trail riding i...

An interesting package that might appeal to someone who wants access to Memory Map and to use a Road Angel but doesn't want to go through the connectivity pains that some new users seem to experience. The package includes a mint Toshiba Satellite Pro L40 laptop and a Road Angel 7000 both loaded with Mem...

Now on eBay: To my dismay I have just found out that my bike was classed as an insurance category D total loss in March '09. I entered details into Autotrader to sell the bike and found out this information. I never done a check before I bought it and have now done so with HPIcheck. Here is an excerpt: Aler...
My TTR isn't starting and low on compression - 50 to 60 psi so I took it all apart both cylinder head and barrel etc but without dismantelling the valves - wasn't brave enough and couldn't find a 'sticky' from Brian. Replaced the gaskets and re timed the lot and no improvement (I'm no mechanic) so either i...
