Not sure where they get their figures but there are 641 UK-based forum members at the moment. Some of those will have sold their TTRs and not cancelled their membership but the contra to that is there are probably as many owners that haven't joined us.

Got this in an email back in 2014 from Yamaha. Don't forget there have been loads of "grey" imports.

It will only include official Yamaha UK sales so only the 2004 models in reality.

Everything else was a grey import and they wouldn't know about them.

I suppose there has probably been a damn lot of grey imports since 1993 aswell
