Did my first real ride on some local trails today. Tried out sand, tight trails, open dirt for the first time. Lots to learn, but I had a great time.

5 minutes into my ride I made the mistake of trying to ride between an atv's mud ruts. Slid into a foot (30.48 cm) deep rut of wet muddy clay. Took about 45 mins to get out.

A group of us did some great trails in Normandy last week. We stayed at Paul Barons place who runs Dirt bike tours , had a great time , two of us riding TTRs. The little bikes never missed a beat and coped with everything we could throw at them from rocks to mud , steep slippery climbs and water.

Well bikes are loaded for the 500km drive to the Flinders Ranges, been a lot of rain up that way with some roads closed & we may have to change the schedule. Picked up the full graphics kit from Enjoy that included the new seat cover. Pretty good kit and was not too difficult to install. Had to trim a bit of the graphic on the gas tank as I couldnot get it to lay right around the edges. before after

After having a problem with petrol not staying in the tank I had to cut the graphics to make the repair. Bit shocked at the price of new ones so having vinyl wrapped a zzr in the past I ordered a sheet of blue carbon to see how it could look. Total cost £20 deliVerde for enough to do this twice... Oh and the sun...

Know where I done it... slow rocky up hill was doing a bit of clutch poping to lift the front over a few rock leadges... the rim lock is bloody tight this time....
