5 minutes into my ride I made the mistake of trying to ride between an atv's mud ruts. Slid into a foot (30.48 cm) deep rut of wet muddy clay. Took about 45 mins to get out.

A group of us did some great trails in Normandy last week. We stayed at Paul Barons place who runs Dirt bike tours , had a great time , two of us riding TTRs. The little bikes never missed a beat and coped with everything we could throw at them from rocks to mud , steep slippery climbs and water.
