Picking a very nice WR250f tomorrow.

I am going to be stocking parts for this bike very soon and need one here so I know what I am talking about. This bike is the first generation ally framed model, a great bike and loads of them around.

Just trying to build the business up and make sure that totallyttrs / totallywrs is here for the long term. I will also be looking to add the tenere in the future and help build the totally shop into a sustainable and much revered brand.

Let me know what you think of my new ridesmile

It's a lovely looking bike Steve!

Any thoughts of competing on it?

PS Good luck with extending the WR business biggrin

Cheers Bri

Got some friends who do lot's of Enduro's, going to hook up with them first. The only thing that I am a little sceptical about is, this bike has a reckluse clutch fitted, never tried one before, but it comes with the original clutch as well.

Nice with the white plastics and Yamaha stripes.

I only sold my 07 WR250f recently, they are a terrific bike, very durable, I would say easily the most reliable brands of the "new" 250F's.
I bought one for my then teenage kids and liked it better than my 450 so rode it for about 7 years, reliable as.
Can highly recommend the Athena 290 kit. Makes for a nice and torquey style bike.
Only sold it because I got a good deal on a new runout 2015 efi version and Mr Yamaha gave me 1% finance. ;)
You'll have to get used to the newer style of power, less down low but fast revs and more power. Plush suspension is nice for plodding but needs work if you want to go fast.
Enjoy.

The tenere is now a discontinued model... as with all the 660 versions XTZ , XTR , XTX
we are hanging out for the new MT07 based version...

PS.
You might want to stock fork seals, they were the only issue I had with mine, they'd last a couple of seasons only.

And they respond to derestriction and a pipe really well. ;)

yes you can still buy them if the importer has the bikes still in the wharehouse....

the 660 Ten , XTR & XTX have been out of production for almost a year now...

the 1200 Super Tenere is and will continue to be a current model as the motor meets

EURO 4 specs... where the 660 didn't and was unable to easly be moded so they are going

to use the newer MT07 inline twin motor that meets EURO 4...

Yamaha have been showing of the new T7  "tenere 700" but there is also another verson

they are keeping under raps.... road testing it with a cover on it so you can't really see what it is like...

everyone is hopeing the T7 is the one that goes into production.... but I think it is to dirt focused

to aparel to the wider market... so I don't think the T7 will be the production model..

But in saying that they did have 3 bikes with the 660 motor... So maybe they might put

both into production.....

just hope it's not a over weight top heavy pig like the 660 tenere is...
