Looks way better than the Original and sounds almost the same, loud pipes are fun but the fun is very soon gone in the neighbourhood and on the green lanes! To bolt the end to the frame i made a descent...

Hi All, My question is does the silencer packing material in a muffler in any way affect the tuning and power output? Just got these off Ebay $2.10 for the pair Super bright at 12v, left spots in front of my eyes so a voltage divider to bring them back to 10 or 11 volts is the go, still very bright at that voltage. If an Acerbis tank for an XR will fit a TTR, will a standard XR tank fit too? I want a black tank for my project bike. A decent OE one is prooving tricky to find but if I can find a black plastic one, that might do the trick. Are they the same shape throughout the range (250, 400, 650...)? Ride safe, Simon.

Right. It's exhaust time. But I'm poor/tight and am looking at options for increased flow at minimum outlay.
