Modifying a WR450 muffler onto a TTR250
Permalink

This afternoon i picked up an WR450 exhaust for 50€ (brand new ,never used) biggrin

Tonight i fitted it on the bike.

Looks way better than the Original and sounds almost the same, loud pipes are fun but the fun is very soon gone in the neighbourhood and on the green lanes!

To bolt the end to the frame i made a descent bracket.

For the fitting onto the headrepipe i welded a piece of the pipe from the old muffler onto the new one.

Looks like a good fit. Well done! Just the slip-on joint you had to modify? Amazing the frame mount lines up so well. Scouring ebay now

I welded the sliponjoint from the old muffler onto the new one, it looks like it's made for the ttr.
I'm just not sure if the wr pipe was from a steel or alu frame.
