Back home now - great company, great weather, and very nice pasties/ice creams/pot of tea and carrot cake Rode 43 "green lanes". Only covered 49 miles in 6 hours. I must confess the snack stops did take up a bit of time Ride report to follow on this thread! Brian

Devon TRF Event at Smeatharpe - Sunday 31st March
(Preview)
See here Aplologies for the short notice The Devon TRF Group run trail riding events. They are very much like a trail ride with lots of tea drinking and bumping of gums. This is absolutely not a competitive event. Regarding the difficulty you will find nothing that you would not find on an average rid...

North Lancashire ride out
(Preview)
Not been out for ages so a group of us arranged a nice easy ride over Salter Fell a 4 to 5 mile track 1000 ft asl. Its a good steady ride but today there were frequent snow drifts/gullys that were difficult to get the bikes through due to the depth of the snow, so it was not as easy ride as first thought. A...

Bruny Island almosts.

Went for a ride to Bruny Island and seven K's in got a wee bit of a flat. Found this great bike stand on the side of the road. It ended up being a fairly large tear, managed to get a patch on it but another few K's down the road it let go for good so it was back to the ferry at 40Kmh for the trip home. I have managed to...
