Bike cuts out after sat at constant revs!
(Preview)
Hi all, First off, a quick introduction. I’m Ollie, and I’ve had my TTR for a while now (a year or 18 months, can’t remember exactly). It’s a K reg metal tank version. I use it for green laning so it gets a bit battered and bruised, but I always give it a lot of TLC after each trip! There’s one slightly odd f...

Fork Disassembly Special Tool
(Preview)
I'm taking my forks apart because one of the stanchions is bent from a bad fall I had in Portugal. I need a special tool to take it apart and although it's possible to do it without, I prefer to know it's done properly when I put it back together. I have an alternative reason here for wanting a tool, I recentl...

Stock exhaust pipe bend?
(Preview)
My TTR250 stock exhaust has a distinct bend/kink where the stainless trim covered pipe section joins the main body of the exhaust. Are they meant to be like this or are they supposed to be straight? -- Edited by Benjah on Thursday 21st of September 2017 01:03:57 AM

Went through a few fords last weekend and have hit some deep-ish puddles in the past, although I don't think I've actually gone over the hub... Crusty Rusty Exhaust Header and Studs
(Preview)
Anyone got any tips for when I eventually take this lot off and renew it all. It is rusty as well, i'm expecting the nuts to jut crumble when any force is applied. I'll probably use a nut splitter to get them off. Main worry is the studs snapping off in the head. Been spraying with wd40 everyday so hopefully...

Renewing the stainless steel exhaust guard or trim piece

Water / oil mix in oil breather line valve
(Preview)
Hi all My bike's PO told me to drain the valve on the oil breather line regularly. I was worried it was due to blow by, but I checked it today - +/- a week since I checked it last and +/- 50km - and I found a milky, mostly water mix in the drain nipple(?). If this was a water cooled engine I would be crapping myse...

Std exhaust diagram / layout?

I want to get a bit more flow through the stock silencer. I read on another forum about making a hole next to the std hole in the tin can piece. My son washed out the front end of the TTR, now the forks and handlebars are not aligned. The bars are favoring the right side of the bike. Do I need to loosen to the headstem bolt, or do I start with the triple clamps and front axle? I would appreciate your kind assistance with this. Thank you.
