When start the engine or turn off the engine I can hear some metal knocking sound once or twice while starting and once while turning off. Is it how it suppose to be or is it something wrong? How to fix? Please advice. TTR 2008. Seems like sound comes from electric starter area.

Hi Guys, Recently bought TTR250 2008 (17k kms) and noticed a small oil leaking from the left corner of the bottom gasket. My mechanic recommended me to just to leave it as it is if it won't get worse and look after the oil level. It's fine for me but still a bit annoying. Any clues apart just leave it as it is?...
