How the hell do you top up the rear brake reservoir please? Not obvious other than removing a few bits and pieces out of the way. Need to bleed/replenish the fluid after replacing the rear piston and am mystified !
Good question. The mounting bolt for the resavoir holds a lock tab down on the lid
so it’s a case of remove the bolt and lock tab I have then loosley fitted the bolt back to hold the resavouir while I top up using a bottle with a suitable hose or extension then bolt everything back together
oh yes first step clean all the dirt/water ect away

Thanks for the guidance, obviously not a job Yamaha expect you to do on a weekly basis. I guess at least it's protected hidden away inside the frame. Job for tomorrow !
