Likewise, the condition of the seat cover is unimportant, provided that the foa...
The important bit has broken off - see pic below. I am pretty sure it can't be repaired. Anyone got one off an old shock they would swap for some beer tokens? Also, anyone got any top bearing collars going spare? I always seem to break these as they are so brittle

I did about a 30 mile trail ride on my ttr last night, there was a bit of road work and a little mid but most of it was quite rough going stony track surface and plenty of large puddles! The trail tyres that are on the bike have possibly seen better days and are quite lethal on the mud, nearly lost the front end a...

I am currently working on two OE tanks. This was what one of them looked like before I started: Both tanks were pretty manky so I firstly had them both shot blasted to see what they looked like in the metal. I have since filled a couple of minor dents and repaired a small leak on one with Plastic Paddings Lea...
Bought a TTR recently and although the previous owner said the sprag was OK, it seemed to be making some noises when operating the starter which were extra to the usual bang on switch off Stripped it down today and found one of the most damaged sprags I have seen so far so it goes in my Black Museum! The inn...

Also on the rear shock there is a rubber bump stop or something like that but I can'...
Quite enjoying the new forum, one thing i'd like is a "View First Unread" option, especially as the forum is getting busier and trawling through multiple posts to get to new ones is a bit annoying.

On a recent outing all went well until I tried to restart my TTR 250. The first thing I did was replace the plug as it was turning over OK. This did'nt work so I checked for spark but there was none at the plug or the lead. I have since downloaded the manual and checked the cut out switch, the main ignition sw...
