Chain wear guides

Looking at the parts diagram there seem to be 2 chain wear guides. The big black one at the front 4GY-22151-00 and a small white at rear 3JD-22147-00

Are these the only wear guides and can someone verify the numbers for me.

Also on the rear shock there is a rubber bump stop or something like that but I can't see it in the parts book. Is the only thing to perish on the shock the only thing you can't get a replacement part for?

Cheers Spud.

Hi Spud

You are correct that Yamaha 3JD-22147-00-00 is the part for the older TTRs rear chain guideYamaha 4RR-22199-00-00 is correct for the later models.

A cheaper version of the OEM chain slider 4GY-22151-00 is available from Andy Lander-Stow - see http://www.joatmoa.co.uk/ttr250/#Chain Slider

Totally agree that it is silly that you can't buy a replacement rear shock bump stop. I have managaed to get a pack of shorter bump stops and am going to use two!

There's also another little one just behind the front sprocket that protects the chassis cross bar (behind the verticle bar).
