My bike is running rich, as it splutters a lot on WOT. I have ran it with air box lid removed and it runs a lot better. Main jet is a 147, can anyone recommend what size main jet to change to? exhaust is a CRD open pipe. Is there a point changing pilot jet as it runs ok on low revs. Many thanks.

Hey! I was wondering if anyone knew what jets (pilot and main) would work most efficient at 7000ft above sea level. I dropped the needle down two notches in the carb but it still sputters at high rpm and i can not get full power. Let me know your guys opinion!!

I noticed that I had a little petrol come out of this hole When I turned the fuel on. Fairly New to riding every day but have to choke every morning for the bike to start. Any ideas or should i get used to this? tried changing plug but not sure the replacement was any better than the one that was in(hard to get genuine spares).

i have a problem...plz help.. my bike since day 1 wont start without pulling out the air choke stick (yep that one on carb) at least the very first time early in the morning that ill try to turn the bike on must pull the choke..after it gets hot everything is good and turns on ok...without air open needed....

Just out of curiosity, I'm wondering what size pilot jets you guys are using in your ttr250's. I know that the 52 and 52.5 pilot jets seem to work good for a lot of people. Anyone using anything bigger? How about smaller? At what elevations? Any mods to justify?
