does it stick out by about 20mm or does it sit back flush with the carb?

My choke sticks out about 1/2-3/4''

Had to be careful what I typed there.

Thanks, never noticed it before but it got bent a bit when I last fell off the bike down a lane!!!

Look as though it could do with something to protect it as it seems a bit vulnerable.

I think that it would be a very unlucky TTR rider who bends his choke knob! hmmbleh

My knob is well inboard of my fuel tap and guarded well by the throttle actuator. smile

For anything to clonk that my knee/leg would have to get hurt in the process.
