Dont know any history on this TTR , picked it up for the wheels and other items. Engine oil is full , but that could have been filled after the explosion. Barrels been honed and looks ok but im no mechanic. Any ideas what may have happend.

Is it possible to change the valve stem seals with the head in situ (piston tdc of course)? How close is the piston/valve clearance at tdc to hold the valves in place? Has anyone tried? Cheers, Simon.
