Trimmed the airbox snorkel inlet. As anticipated, the fuel screw was turned out to compensate (out about 3.75 turns now). The a$$ dyno feels a slightly stronger pull on bottom, but sort of falls off up top. Any Comments or concerns? I'm running an UNI air filter with a Mikuni vm28/486 42.5 pilot and a n102/221 135 main jet. I am going to get a bigger pilot, but should I get a bigger main as well? Needle in the middle setting

Trimming the snorkel usually makes it run rich and does not usually help much (it didn't for me anyway). Try fitting a larger snorkel as in THIS THREAD.

I knew you had trouble with this mod as I have seen that post before. I was just wondering what others had to say or what type of luck they had. If I don't have luck after re-jetting, I'm, just going to order a new OEM snorkel.
I am aware I need to rejet, but as of now I am missing the lock washer beneath the needle on the slide. I ordered a new needle set from partzilla so I will install that before I even start my bike again. As of right now, I have Mikuni jets installed. Vm28/486 47.5 pilot and n102/221 135 main because the previous owner install an UNI air filter.
OH and in cause you weren't aware, Mikuni jets are about 10 sizes bigger than yamaha/teikei.
