I've just completed a gearbox upgrade on my TTR. Although I enjoy using all six of the standard gears I found the choice of ratios a tad limiting. To make riding more interesting I looked into the possibility of a gearbox upgrade.

I think my choice is quite an accomplishment.

The TTR and my eldest lads KTM 250 EXC, both lads went out and had a great time getting very muddy, I have a bit of work to do on the Yam after a tree jumped out at Matt (so he says) LOL

Sorry guys, but trying to get ttr parts out here is a nightmare, so bought a brand new Kawasaki D-Tracker. Gonna miss the old girl but yamaha don't do new off road bikes out here as yet. Had a few rides out local to me nothing wet as it has super motard tyres on it. just ordered a set of klx rims and tyres so hope...

Just picked up a 2006 Yamaha powered Scorpa SY250 in same TTR blue colour.Still get a buzz when a new(ish) bike arrives. It seems in good order after giving it a run around on some spare land.

Hoping the image works. What a day it was yesterday. brand new bike turned up, my wife and i offer on a house got accepted and i got my license. but man way too tall! i knew this would happen, i went out for a ride and i was dropping my bike in peak hour traffic

I have 2001 TTR 250, made in street legal in Texas. switched title from off road to streetable. It was easy ins, inspection, title fees, registration. I am now wanting to change wheels to steet use, or motorad. What is the cheapest route, any any suggestions. Thanks. Chris
