Steve from the Blue Mountains, that terrain you have there couldn't be more different from where I ride.
By the way, I agree about aftermarket exhausts, way to loud, I wouldn't give up my stock exhaust for anything except for one of the nice shiny ones you can get through the TTR website

Thought I'd pop in and say hello. I've been visiting on and off for the last six or so months, but haven't registered until now. The info is great, so thank you.
Below is a pic of my '09 TTR250. I'm a beginner rider and bought the TTR with 1500km on it about six months ago. The only mod it has as far as I know is a GYTR Muffler. Its a bit loud for me and I'm probably going to change it for a standard muffler, for now. It did have nice stickers on the tank, but my kneepads made a mess of them.
The picture is of my bike at a salt lake north of my town in Western Australia.
Definitely very different, Steve! I'm an avid Youtube watcher and see some of the amazing, often slushy and high places you Eastern Staters get to explore. I'm very envious of the views and the skill level required to traverse such terrain!
