Probably a silly question about gasket replacing

I need to replace the gasket on the right-hand side of the engine case because it leaks oil. Do I need anything to stick the gasket down or do I just throw it on and put the case on?

Peculiar goings on in an exhaust port!
(Preview)
I was just stripping out a cylinder head tonight and found a couple of very odd "things" under an exhaust valve - see photos below. I thought first off they were shells but I crushed them and the walls were thick and crumbly - almost like rotten wood. Any ideas what they are or were? Brian

Oddity found during engine strips - emulsified oil around front left stud

Pocket Sized Tyre fitting Device

I just purchased one of these today, so should arrive a 2-3 weeks from the US I don't have enough strength in my wrists to fit a D606 rear tyre, I can do the front, but the back, just can't manage it. I can get them off OK, just not the reverse. After seeing this thing I was sold. [video=https://youtu.be/8WR...

O'Rings for Carb
(Preview)
Hi all, I have pulled the carb out recently on a 2007 TTR250. I have seen a couple of pictures where people have said there is 2 O'Rings under the cover of where the diaphragm and needle are. Is this true for my model? As when I pulled it apart, none fell out. Perhaps they have perished completely? Tim

Plasti Dip to repair cracks in carb diaphragm

Does anyone know if applying plasti dip to a cracked carb diaphragm will work to seal pressure? Does gas c...

1995 OE fork gaiters
