Just to be clear: all questions I'm asking not usually are just from one motorbike.
As I'm helping my friend at his garage, first TTr was the one I wanted to keep; second belonged to a customer, than then brought a third one, so yes, they are three TTR's I've been/I'm asking about.
While checking valve clearances on third TTr, I have found that intake camshaft sprocket got just one bolt tightening
At the beginning I didn't mind much, thought that maybe last mechanic while "playing" forgot to put it back.
But today while talking with the owner, he told me about a crack sound? and then my mind started wondering....
Could that bolt be making that crack sound? I don't know what crack sounds means and never heard it, but....
In my opinion there are two chances: last mechanic or somebody forgot to put it back, OR has fallen.
Advises/suggestions would be appreciated.

I would definitely take the right hand side engine cover off and have a look for it! You could fish around in the centre crankcase with a magnet on a stick too (through the oilway hole). Don't want a bolt bouncing around down there and getting trapped in the cam chain or any of the gears.
You don't seem to be having much luck with your ttr engines at the moment?
You have no option really you will need to go looking for it in the engine, as you do not know for sure if it has not come off in there and not advisable to run an engine like that.

I have just seen messages. Thank you for advises anyway.
So yeah, today I have decided to go for that bolt. Drained oil, opened right crankcase cover and searched for it between clutch and sprockets. Nothing.
When I took oil strainer apart and took a look through the hole, I saw something shining, so I grab a thin screwdriver rubbed it to a magnet to magnetize it, and in my second super patient time, I was able to take it out.
Felt lucky, but no, was not the missing bolt, was a dowel pin!!
Seems last mechanic has dropped that dowel pin while checking valve clearances, or "something" and never mind to take it, as when I have re shimmed the bike, all dowel pins where there.
Later I have asked my mates to help me lift the bike, I standed it on one wheel, and took a look through the holes, but was not able to find any bolt. I thought bolt would move to the back of crankcase.
Also I lean it on the right side and nothing too.
My guess now is that they forgot to screw that bolt back.
I think I did everything possible to be able to find it without taking engine apart, or completely opening crankcase and I'm done.
Anyways, all other suggestions will still be welcomed.

Not so bad luck. As the second bike I have serviced, brought me a third TTR.
I would consider it a draw.
First bike I want to keep, yes, many issues.
Second bike ( ordering parts for first bike and stripping some other parts has helped me to repair it) and I made it run super nice and smooth. Happy with my work, and also brought a new customer (third bike).
Third bike, I thought would be more simple, but paying attention made me find some issues. But yes, Im quite picky and like to take care of bikes on every detail.
Maybe tomorrow I will finish it, and crank it. Let's see.
Im not a mechanic. Is just my hobbie, and I like it so much!
