It all depends on your cable routing and what cables are fitted. Life isn't meant to be simple wink

Quite often it is possible to re-route cables to get the length but you might still find them tight on full lock.

Longer cables are available if needed - see here

Steve is showing them as out of stock at the moment but maybe email him to get an update if you need them biggrin

I have the 2006 (blue) Australian model that is stock standard.I read someone else did 30mm risers and bought the longer cables, and found he didn't need them, and used stock.By having a quick look,it looks as though it might just work with the standard cables(just).Risers due tomorrow (and 14/52 sprockets and new chain),so will soon find out.

I am pleased to report the 25mm risers are fitted and work perfectly.I did not need longer cables.Mine is the 2006 Australian model.I don't know if it's the same as all countries, but assumming they will work on all models? Also fitted the 14/52 sprockets. They seem to run a little better. But not the night/day difference I was hoping for.Now I just need to find some steep hills to try it out on.

Thanks for reporting back. Glad the cables worked out.
Your chain, and the chain slider that protects the swingarm, will thank you for keeping the 14T front sprocket!

i had to lower the rear chain guard by about 20mm,as the 52 tooth sprocket is huge.Just cut a bit of 5mm flatbar about 35mm x 140mm,and drilled the two existing holes about 20mm apart. The cut into the plastic slider the same thickness as the flatbar, that way it held the same position, just 20mm lower.

I don't mind the stock bars. Now they are 25mm higher,it feels so much better to ride.Alot more control now.

6th gear was totally useless with hthe 14/44 sprockets(unless you are going down hill). Now with the 14/52 combo, steep hills are alot easier to get up,some that I used to go up in 1st gear can now be done easily in 2nd gear.It can still do 100 kph easily, but sits nicely at 90kph.
