My recollection is that, when I fit Dakar Highs, I go with Steve's longer clutch and throttle cables and that the standard original brake hose is just fine.

Not necessarily but I like things to be "right" so always fit the longer throttle cables with raised handlebars wink

If you find your throttle cables are too tight with the risers fitted then some owners rectify this by turning the throttle assembly through 180 degrees which gives quite a bit more slack.

I used the standard brake line with 30mm risers...
it also depends on wheather you have standard bars a higher ones..
throttle cables only just make it...

I'm looking to change the controls on my TTR and was wondering if anyone would see an issue with getting an adapter from 7/8 to 1 1/8 like the one here?

I have 20mm spacers but want a high rise bar without the cross-bar that comes on most 7/8 bars for more room for attachments (phone mount, clamping point for aftermarket hand guards) as well as just a stiffer bar.

I can't seem to find many (any) 7/8 high rise bars without a cross-bar?

Once I bought a high handlebar from a Honda XL 600, 650, 700 Transalp without a crossbar.
