Hi all;

A few years has passed since I sold my loved EXC 300 and now back to mud.

Quietly, so I got my 03 TTR. Very happy, but my physical condition now is lower.

 

So I wanted to reduce weight on the blue one.

 

I´ve took off a few small parts.

Now I´ve replaced silencer. 4,2 Kgr from the original replaced by 2,6 for the Dominator unit; - 1,6 Kg.

 

I´m checking the batt, and I´ve met:

Original acid one 4,00 Kgr.

Lithium equivalent: 0,7 Kgr !!

Weight reduction 3,3 Kgr. WOOWWWWW !!!!

 

Total 5 Kgr just here !

Well done, I've done similar.. the original headlight and speedo are very heavy and can be replaced with lighter after market units too.

I´ll keep on working on it.
I´ve took off any protections, handles for the back passenger and clutch + stand up securities + cables, mirror, a few hoses... small things, but many small things, make a few kilos !

When I replace the battery I will be changing to a light one the one that's in there is still the original from 2010 so 9 years it should die anytime
