3" wide rear rim on a TTR250

Robin Webb does quite a lot of sand riding where a wider rear tyre helps find traction.  He has sent me some photos of his new 3" wide rear rim.

"This is my new 17 inch 3’’ wide rear wheel. 

Converted to tubeless and mounted to bike #2.

Seems to run well with a 14R/42R sprock. Snail chain adjuster is way back on notch #12

Bike is 2mm over rebored

Tyre is USA Kenda k270 17/510

Bike has the lowering link, plus remodelled raid seat, so with this wheel and tyre is also a bit lower still.

Feet down comfort for more road riding!"
