This one isn't really a quick detach version, I will probably build another one using 50mm velcro but it doesn't really look like it's going to be in the way anyway, it's not far enough back
What's it made from is a product called Foamex in Australia which is highly compressed polystyrene, this one is 3mm thick, bendable and you can heat it with a heat gun and bend it any way
I curved this one to fit the "standard windscreen" then bent the tip forward as well

Martyn (pug) has the tutor system too. Looks like you have the screen at about the right angle, if you have it too steep an angle the air will come over the screen and straight back down again on you.

It's a bit hard to see in the photo but there is a lip it the top that helps a lot as well, you see a lot of after market screens for other bikes with the lip
of course no one makes a screen for the TTR, not that I really care, took about 4 hours to set up but now I can make then in about 15 minutes if I break it

Nice windscreen we have some of that board at work think we call it foam board plus we have some stuff called white wall board both are about 3mm thick plus a entire rack or 3mm 4mm 6mm Acrylic all colours and a rack of hips vacuum forming sheets in 1mm 2mm 3mm 4mm all colours as well plus the laser cutter an vac former to cut an mould it I just never get the time to do any stuff for myself but if I do I want to vac form a set a set of fork shrouds in the Yamaha blue. I will have to tap Brian up sometime about the lone of a set of fork bottoms to see if it will work
Will see you about this before the summer Brian I would be wanting the loan of a left and right fork bottom I'm eye ball deep with the A level kid's work at the moment an with the GCSE stuff just about to hit's me as well I don't get to play around at this time of year. the funny thing is blue hip's vac forum plastic is a spot on match for the Yam blue I wonder Who ordered that
Gave it a good test yesterday, rode 350klm, everything from 120kph stretches of tar to really steep gnarly ascents and decents
at 120k's it created an area of fairly "still" behind the visor, at 80k's it was really good
so no need to detach it at all, it just bumped me in the chest a couple of times on really steep accents so I'm going to bend it a bit more vertical, that will fix it
no noticeable vibration, it just sat there even at 120ks
next stage is to make a wider one for more on road protection, probably 75-100mm wider each side
and then a removable lip at the top to add another 100mm for even more protection

I'm using a Screens for Bikes screen which is TTR specific and it definitely cuts the wind to the chest. With a slight race tuck, 120kph is quiet enough. I did bump it when I dropped the bike off road and basically just one of the rubber mounts on the factory screen popped off. Nothing to worry about at all.
Your hand built one looks great. I'm using a Tutoro too but my reservoir is mounted near the front sprocket.

Please Send photo's I'd like to see how you mount the screen and the tutoro. I'm thinking of using Velcro to mount my screen so it's easy to remove.
Are you using the Turoro oil still, I'm thinking of using some light motor oil, the tutoro stuff is to sticky and attracts dust and really hard to get off I had to use degreaser 3 times to get it clean around the sprockets and chain
Cheers
Steve

I'm still using the green Tutoro oil. It's a little bit tacky but doesn't fling all over rim. I'll take a photo of the mounting tonight. It's going to get changed as I need space for a clutch arm stop adjuster.
