That, to coin a phrase, "that is brilliant.

Reminds me of a dog's drinking bowl - that would be a small dog!

However, since I don't venture out on mine after sunset it'd be slightly useless for me.

It would be good to see some close up pics of the fittings against the forks if that was possible Ben?

Here you go! I pulled this light off my KLR650 and I have a friend who is going to trade me another one of them for some of the gear I make so I will end up with the same light on both bikes. One seriously great thing about this light besides the obvious lighting ability is the mounting points for a windscreen. I will put it on soon and take shots of mt custom windscreen. It takes only a couple minutes to put on or remove and angle is adjustable. The big advantage of this setup with a windscreen is that the windscreen is far enough forward to not interfere with climbing or standing wheelies.

It's designed for racing. It fits on in about 60 seconds if you use a impact tool and it's all ready to go.

Here are some shots of my old windscreen I made for the light with some Aluminum flat bar and Poly-carbonate sheet. Plans are in the works for another screen with solid black and Smoke Poly.

The clamps have rubber pads and came with the light specifically for mounting. I've run this light on my 650 for several years and the clamps work flawlessly. :D :)
