Did you wind up buying some Pete?

After I saw your link I bought some for my R80 G/S. They were very similar to the genuine product and I suspect that they may have come from the same factory. The main shaft of the pegs was a bit long allowing the pegs some slight movement in the direction away from the frame. No big deal but it annoyed me so I fitted a rubber O ring to take up the space. I am very happy with these pegs.

I have never figured out why Yamamama ever put such a small OEM peg on such a tall bike. Even the best of things may not always be perfect. (Rose has thorns but we still love them!)

It seems that word has got around on a forum that our stainless steel wide footpegs (see here) fit the XT660Z! So if you have an XT660Z alongside your TTR you know where to come wink

BUT, they don't pivot cry

This is the email I received from an XT owner who took the chance and bought a pair:

Brian

Got the pegs yesterday and I'd like to say a great bit of kit and fit the xt660z perfectly. They are much more comfortable with the extra width and much more grip than standard pegs. I will post on the xt660 forum about them as these bike are very popular with RTW riders and the pegs are one of the first things that need changing your product is very good value compared to some of the big names IE touratech also known as to toura rip off.

Shame they are so highly polished Tho as I like everything painted black so I have a bit of work to get the paint to stick to the super shiny finish lol

Regards
