XT350 Gauges?

Just wondering if it's possible to use the gauges from an XT350 (speedo at least). I know you guys can use xt225 gauges, but how do you hook up a speedo cable to the front hub if your blue model only has the Yamaha odometer? Just saying cause I got to ride a 1990 xt350 and I liked it. Thanks!

 I am asking, can you use an xt350 speedometer on a ttr 250? If so, how can it be done?

Don't know what yer budget is....

But how about a trailtech vapor... use a magnetic sencor on the wheel

Ahhhh - I see....

If the XT speedo head takes the same size cable as the Yam odometer then it's a straight swap I guess.

Not sure about the gearing and whether it would read correctly. Let us know if you try it wink

wait it suddenly occured to me... the cable for the 1000 mile trip meter is a direct hookup to an xt225 speedometer?

Yes, it is!
I bought a used xt225 speedometer assembly, bought a couple of stainless u-bolts with extra hardware and used the u-bolt plates to make brackets to attach the assembly. The old odometer cable can just be threaded directly to the xt225 speedometer. Both the speedometer and odometer/tripometer work fine. I didn't bother with the electronics, so I don't have functioning neutral or signal light indicators.
