PO55 in pieces again - I do not love this bike - and just to make my life more interesting, one of the exhaust manifold nuts sheared off when I was removing the exhaust pipe. Any advice as to how to remove the stud - I have tried loads of WD40 and heating with the blow torch, but it still wont budge.
Heat shock normally works, it's just getting a grip is the hard part. I have an old electric drill chuck which tightens down onto the stud and normally grips tightly enough.
Sounds like a good idea with the drill chuck! I will give that a go. I am trying to find out why this bike always sounds like a 'bag of spanners' - always has, never been able to find the cause.
If you have a lowering link and/or the rear shock wound down, the drive chain makes a rattle against the top chain roller which you would swear is coming from the engine.
