My seat is missing all of the foam damper pads from the bottom. This means there is a lot of play in the seat when fitted and it rubs on the petrol tank (to the point that I had to get the tank welded as it had rusted through). Is there any specific type of foam / sponge that I should use to fit new dampers? Or should I just get a roll of foam tape from local hardware store?
