Rear Shock Noise- Is this normal for a TTR?

After replacing the rebound bump stop on the rear shock and reassembling it, I noticed while pumping the rear shock up and down I hear a slight squeak and also what sounds like air rushing through a valve. Can anyone kindly tell me if this is a typical noise? The shock damping is fine and I can't discern any problems, but I'm concerned it may have a leak.

I've attempted to upload a video of the noise here: https://youtube.com/shorts/eqrG_gvPVa4

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

If you have had the shock apart to fit the new bump stop, it will need a re-gas.

Steve and Brian's diy shock rebuild article is here:

Thank you, that's interesting. I disassembled the shock from the bottom and didn't think it disrupted the seals, unless I messed up the damping needle.

Ah, ok, you might have got away with it!
Bouncing the back of my bike, I can hear a whooshing noise which is normal.
If it feels well damped then you are probably ok. How old is your bike? Perhaps fresh oil and a regas would be advisable in any case?

PS Sorry John, no more pics - I don't generally take many.
