Hi and thanks to Brian the forum moderator I couldn't make a new account so an email to him and I got an account, I joined because I have bought my first dirt bike it happened to be a 1995 TTR250 Open Enduro, well I bought a $300 Honda CT125 first to learn a thing or two from and it was only a farm bike it never got on the road but I'm planning to put my TTR250 on the road. The guy I bought it from pumped lots of air into the forks to hide the broken springs I found this out when changing the seals and for some reason I was rearing a brand new t-shirt which is a rag now from all the oil that exploded everywhere (I didn't release the air from the valve) so also some walls and furniture needed cleaning. Live and learn well here is a nice picture of what it looks like

Welcome to the forum, and good luck with your new bike - should be quite a step up in performance and handling over a CT125!

Glad you found us Shaun!

I also had a case of the dreaded exploding forks! Fortunately I was between the fork and my Mustang (with the top down!) and shielded it from the oil but, like you, I did spoil my clothes. Old fork oil is rank disbelief

After that I moved my workshop to another space!
