I am currently building a 2004 TT250R engine but I am not sure what goes in the two holes pointed to in the attached picture. The holes are behind the clutch and the only picture I can find in on the TTR250 website and they look like rubber patches, the top one appears to have a smaller hole in it. My best guess they are some kind of baffle, but I don't get why they are required so high in the casing and I either want to get hold of them, I cannot find any listings for them on Fowlers or any other website I have looked at, or can I leave them out. the engine is destined to become a 350 so its not going to be standard anyway.

The only split crank casing's I have here don't have them either.

Some early bikes had extra bits, that the later bikes don't have confuseconfuseconfuse

Thank you, I won't bother about them then.
