At last a problem with the TTR, near side fork oil seal badly gone, looks a fairly straight forward job, just wondering best place to get the seals and what oil to use.

and anything I should be aware of.

thanks.

Brian's guide is quite comprehensive:

https://www.ttr250.com/TTR_renew_fork_seals.htm

Steve sells the Allballs seal kits:

https://totallyttrs.com/epages/699105d9-e4cc-4b32-b236-84e72cd67f84.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/699105d9-e4cc-4b32-b236-84e72cd67f84/Products/TTR-0287

Alternatively Fowlers have the main seals (genuine) in stock, but not the dust seals.

Have fun lavishing attention on your baby smile

Update on fork seals, well new seals are fitted including new 20w oil and treated the old girl to some new gaiters.
Went quite well considering I have only done oil seals once before.
Used Brians method of using poly pipe to drive the new seals in but the part number has changed, but used 50mm outside diameter of poly pipe but believe any type should do it.

However I have question for anyone who may know about the tyre valves at the top of the fork stanchion that needs pressuriseing, never expected to see that.
But how much pressure does that need,
thanks in advance for any info

You don't need any pressure adding unless you want to make small changes to your preload. I'd set that off the right spring weight if you can.

I see, wont be needing any pressure in forks in that case, no competition riding where I go.

Thanks Daniel appreciated
