I think there may be a problem with the registration page for the forum cry

Has anyone joined recently and found it OK?

If anyone is having trouble and needs help then please email me at briansussex[@]hotmail.com - remove the square brackets which I have added to try and fool the web crawler (or spider) bots!

I didn't get any responses so hopefully the registration page is now working OK.

Unfortunately there is still a problem in that, occasionally, I can't access the Administration Panel to help users with lost passwords etc so please bear with me. Hopefully it will be sorted out soon!

This isn't a membership related post, but I was wondering if there was any good news regarding the disabled "Search" function?

Hi Jeff

No - not heard anything - sorry! 

I now use Google to search the forum using the search format Item site: http://ttr250.activeboard.com where you substitute "Item" for your search term. It actually works better than Activeboard's did when it worked biggrin

I managed to get access to the forum's Administration Panel and looked at the stats. Over 22 million views to date - amazing for such a niche forum!

Regarding the search function, I put in another support ticket to ActiveBoard and got this response (our American friends like to use the "reaching out" phrase. I hope it doesn't cross the Ocean to the UK biggrin - no disrespect to our American members intended!) :

"Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out.

This is a known issue and our devs will be able to address this once they become available.

As soon as this has been corrected, I will reach out. However, I do not have a timeline for when we can expect this to be corrected.
