Hi

a bit of info that may help some one

I have found Yamaha online parts Australia, they're in Sydney and post parts. it's easy to look up the parts and add them to your cart purchase and have them posted. it saves me the 180km round trip to the nearest Yamaha dealer. (found it easier to find the TTR putting in 2000 as the year, as it didn't come up for my 2011 model)

I ordered copper gaskets and starter oring to fit Friday evening.

Yamaha Parts Online

If I'm not in a rush the totally TTRs store is a good option .

Put a few hours on the bike since getting the parts it had a hard to identify oil leak behind the cylender i replaced the starter oring copper gaskets and cam tensioner gasket

I'm pretty sure it was the tensioner gasket

Its all ok now

I had the same leak at the Tensioner last year and a new Gasket fixed it.
It might be something for Owners keep an eye on as the ‘bikes get older.
Cheers

I bought the light ages ago off ebay had to make a couple of brackets . Swap iT back to original for rego inspections . Mates complain about it being too bright during the day biggrin it's great to be seen during the day and a good light in the dark

and its plastic so takes a good hit ok , saving the original expensive unit was my main aim
