Ulez Compliant?

Hi there,

I see from the Gov.UK site that my 1999 TTR250 is not ULEZ (Ultra Low Emission Zone) compliant and hence will cost me £12.50 a ride the I get it going again.  Just wondering if anyone (London based) has any experience of getting their bikes tested and then getting compliant some how???

Cheers,

Matt.

Because it's the people out for a weekend ride, once in a while that are really contributing to Climate Change.....😮‍💨

Hi Matt, please see my May 23 post regarding my successful experience getting a blue TTR ULEZ compliant.

ttr250.activeboard.com/t69410983/london-ulez-compliance/

Unfortunately it appears the test centre I used in Stevenage is no longer open following a quick online search.

18 months on and I have no regrets, even though I probably haven’t recovered the entire cost of the test with trips into the zone (I don’t commute and own other bikes.)

Just nice to not be concerned about it when I’m out for a ride as I live less than a mile from the ULEZ boundary.

Good luck with your own bike if you decide to give it a go.

Steve.
