Hi from Australia 

I just scored myself a GYTR exhaust & Am going to a rejet after installing & opening the airbox

 

i pulled a carb apart planning on upping the jetting from 50 to 52.5 for the pilot, & from 137 to 140

 

but upon disassembl, I found the stock from new I believe, to have 50 pilot & 147 main

 

any thoughts ?

Hi there, if you have a blue model it's quite often that you will have 147 jet from memory. This is because the tube your main jet attaches to is a V05 G0 rather than the older V05 version. I here are only subtle differences between the two but enough to warrant a difference in standard jets.

Cheers, yeh is a blue model 2006. I can see 52.5 pilot just available using a part number, any idea where I would find a part number for a larger main?

On the brass part where the main jet screws into there should be something stamped on one of the 6 sides?

Thanks guys, gut it put back together with 52.5 & 150 jetting, now just got to get it running properly

Any ideas on when it bogs when you cut the throttle from full throttle? Only for a second, then it good again

Replaced the pilot jet & main jet, bit bog when backing off from full throttle so I put the stock main back in, not it idles at a billion RPM…..any ideas?

Turns out it was a mounting screw for the throttle cable had come loose & was not allowing the throttle to completely close, hence the high reving
