Very reluctant sale of my 1996 Open Enduro. I only recently picked the bike up and never intended to part with it, however having been able to acquire something else that suits my needs better, I don't have room for two bikes!
MOT until March 2024. 26,824 miles on the clock as this has been used in its life as a commuter. It's never been off-road and it shows in the condition however she does have a few general wear and tear marks of a bike this age.
I'm a tall chap so made a few upgrades to the bike to help.
Upgrades:
- Renthal Dakar bars
- Extra long venhill cables to accommodate higher bar
- Motad exhaust (sounds lovely)
- Black TTR levers, both clutch and brake (well worthwhile in my opinion - extra reach, less play, more solid feel)
- Easy pull clutch system (reduces arm pump when sitting in traffic)
- USB charging point wired from battery to handlebar (can easily be removed if needs be)
I have the original bars, exhaust, cables, hand guards and a few extras such as brand new front rotor plastics, gaskets etc. I also have a lowered linkage for anyone that wanted to drop the bike a bit. Also included (but not pictured) is a rear metal top rack.
The bike currently has a 4D plate on it as I live in London (it's helpful with the ULEZ cameras) however I have an original smaller plate that will come with the bike. I'm based in Wandsworth and happy for anyone to come and take a look.
