Hello there,

I am the proud new owner of a 2000 TTR-250. Well, I actually purchased it as a gift for my son. He's been getting excellent grades at school and excelling at sports as well so I thought this would be a great way to reward him for all his hard work. Even though his friends ride (much) newer machines, he wanted an older bike and helped pick this one out. Compared to many of the new off road bikes available (Kawasaki KLX230R, TTR-230, and the Honda CRF230F and 250F), this old girl actually seems to be a much more capable motorcycle with more power and a better suspension.

I don't have any pics of the bike to share yet (I'm writing this message at nearly 4 am!), but I'll add some as soon as I am able to.
